Healthcare Facility Commercial Painting Case Study
This healthcare facility project required careful scheduling, access coordination, surface repairs, and communication around continuous operations.
Project Overview
A mental healthcare facility in a major southeastern metropolitan area initially contacted its local CertaPro Painters® business to clean and repaint exposed ductwork in a newer building. After reviewing the completed work, the facility manager expanded the project to include offices, hallways, common areas, and sleeping quarters.
Working Around Continuous Operations
Because the facility operated 24 hours a day, access, scheduling, and communication were central to the project plan. The work needed to account for staff, residents, occupied spaces, and normal facility operations.
Exterior Repairs and Site Logistics
An older building also required exterior work. Hairline cracks in the facade needed stucco patching and an elastomeric coating. Completing this portion required a 65-foot boom lift, downtown street closures, traffic planning, permit approvals, signage, and off-duty police support for traffic control.
Coordinating the Full Scope
The local CertaPro Painters® team coordinated the approved painting scope, access requirements, project scheduling, and exterior logistics with the facility’s representatives from planning through completion.
